Next Gen Entrepreneurs
About Us.
Our aim as stated within our company registration documents is to "provide young people with the opportunity to find purpose, grow confidence, and contribute to society. To equip them with the skills to improve their lives and take control of their future"We further declare that where possible, we will actively seek to "provide training, mentorship and coaching to youths who are academically challenged, from difficult backgrounds, known to the police, or socio economically deprived"
Next Gen Entrepreneurs is a hands-on mentoring hub/ training space helping and preparing creative youths aged 18-19 to start and grow their own businesses. Founded by Cynthia Tooley MBE, it builds on her mentoring and training work since 2013, which began with a young woman under an ASBO who successfully started her own business after a year of training.
Cynthia's approach gained attention when a school headteacher invited her to mentor underperforming students, leading to improved engagement and grades. This success was replicated across schools, particularly benefiting neuro-diverse students seeking creative outlets outside traditional academics.
Cynthia also trained apprentices with minimal qualifications, many with challenging backgrounds, enabling them to acquire skills in record time. Many went on to establish thriving businesses, with some even creating employment opportunities.
Cynthia was made a Medalist of the Order of the British Empire in the late Queen's New Year's Honours in 2017 for services to community (for her coaching) and to business.
In 2022, she received an MBE for services to business, Mentorship and to charity. She published her second book Small Hobby to Big Business in 2023.
Next Gen Entrepreneurs offers a comprehensive program to help participants grow fledgling businesses. They gain skills to create high-end products, market them effectively, and manage key aspects like bookkeeping and presentation, setting them up for sustainable success.

What we offer
Business Maths Skills
Algebra & Simultaneous Equations is not for everyone. We get it. We are not looking to teach that. You still need to know how to work out what discount to offer to enable you boost your sales, or make a certain level of profit.
You meed to know how to work out your pricing to enable you afford your first employee, or pay your taxes. That's the kind of Math we can help you with.
Self Presentation
How to put your best foot forward, or in lay terms, how to dazzle and get the customer to buy into you. This is especially important when you are brand new on the scene.
Business Strategy
Where to find your first clients; How to price to enable you win them over; Where/when to launch; What products to focus on, and what Marketing techniques to use. You only have so much energy and time and money. Its important to plan accordingly to maximise limited resources until those yield enough profit to enable you pursue your next stage.
Customer Service
How to handle your customers from approach to problem solving. Helping you navigate the maturity required to handle a tough customer or how to resolve and remedy any challenges with customers.
Contract Tendering
We will walk with you to approach large events and apply to supply to them. Cynthia says: "I went from baking loaf cakes with a baby on my back to supplying BRIT awards, London Clothes Show, Moet Hennessy and more in a few short years. I know *you* can do it."
Practical Skills
We can access experienced craftspeople to teach you the skills required to create high-end products for your business such as hats, cakes, photography, stationery and catering.
